Dave, I think this is Phil's old car after hearing the rest of the story from the eBay seller.  I don't think the car will sell on eBay for that kind of money though - that'll have to come at a major auction IMHO.  Sounds like a nice car overall though.

Same car is for sale in Hemmings Motor news this month. Then again there are 2 B5 blue, blue interior 4 speed Daytona's for sale in Hemmings. Both are in the same state. I'm thinking that they are two adds for the same car.

The other B5 blue daytona I believe I saw posted for sale somewhere is Billy Cards car restored by Vance Cummings years back.There was a post awhile back by Bill Card saying that a upcoming divorce was in the works.And he would be thinking of selling the daytona

The Daytona for sale is not a true SE Daytona. Those emblems as well as many of the options that are one the car were owner installed. Its a nice Daytona, but its not numbers matching, and its not really an SE Daytona.
