Fake.  Too many camera angles.  They would be zooming past them right on the road.

Pepsi paid commercial, it's all an act, but it would be so much fun to do in real life.

Not sure what you mean by fake exactly but the salesman along for the ride was not in on the prank.

Everyone was in on it.  When he's pealing around corners you can see duplicate tracks (just like in movies) until they get the scene they want.  Also, the interior of the camaro has options only for 2013 model yet the lot sticker said 2009 (which Camaros didn't come out until 2010).  And the last bit of evidence, the salesman could have reached over and turned the car off at anytime.

Still a funny video but "fake" in terms of how they're trying to trick the pulblic in believing this was an actual live event.

Gordon didnt even drive the car!   :smilielol:

There's no way in hell that the insurance company behind him would allow him to pull those stunts and jeopardize his career.

What!? I didn't see the car do any right-hand turns so it could have been Gordon driving. :D

Well, if the salesman was in on it I think he probably did a better job of acting than the guy who won an Oscar last month.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Regardless of what anyone thinks, it got people talking about it.  Marketing group got their moneys worth out of the publicity it brought.  I think I'll go buy a Pepsi.   Not really.

Right. I enjoyed the video a lot but I still don't feel like I need a Pepsi Max or a Camaro. And I still have no desire to watch Nascar anytime soon.
