I have to do some sacraficing to have made this happen but it's for the best. I decided a few months ago after a lot of thought that I've spread myself out too thin with cars and just have too much on my plate. So that being said, some of my cars are being sold. My Magnum is up for sale, my Mustang is sold and being picked up by my friend in the next month and my Duster will be up for sale in a while. I decided to cut my collection down to my Charger, my Coronet and one other car........DRUM ROLL.......

I've wanted one since they came out and I've been working my ass off since trying to get one. Over the last 5 months my desire to get one got worse and since then I've been driving my girlfriend up the wall talking about it. Last night, my dream finally came true and I haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face!!!

It's a 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8. 6.1L HEMI with the 5 speed triptronic automatic transmission. I originally wanted a 6 speed manual but I got such a good deal on the car, I couldn't say no. It's # 2036 out of 6400 made in 2008. Full touch NAV unit, sunroof, heated seats, Kicker sound system... :2thumbs:

Very nice.  So you going to now park it in a humidity controlled room on jack stands and then bring it out at Mopar Nats in 2040!   I'd bet you'd win the survivor award.

The new Challengers really are nice cars, but in '08, the dealers really harpooned people on them. I know of one guy that paid 5 grand over sticker & another, who is a real chump, that paid a whopping 15 grand over sticker!

Friend of mine wanted a manual but 'settled' for a 08 auto because of the so called collectability / numbered first year and overpaid the sticker for it.   :shruggy:

Meanwhile...  good job Cody.  Congrats  :2thumbs:

Nice - bought one new in '08 out of North Carolina - Prices in Canada were stupid over sticker at the time. Yours looks like one of the ones built for the US - The Canadian 2008's had "500" on the grille where yours says SRT. I have only put 1400 miles on mine - but it is a lot of fun - great cars. Congrats  :2thumbs:

Congrats Cody !!!! Your nicest car yet !!!! Good idea, dump the ones you say,and start planning on doing something with that charger,it's been way to many years of your dream car sitting around idle.
I bought an 09 R/T new,6spd,sunroof,chrome wheels, etc. After only 7 months the excitement wore off for me,ntm,i didn't drive it much because of my job I couldn't take it to work,so with only 1,700 miles on it off it went.Good thing,as I really didn't lose that much, but would have if I kept it this long and tried to sell now.

I've never seen a Challender 500....it's a Canadian thing? Lots of Challengers, just never noticed that.
