Well, everybody seems to think the prices are too high, and they should be given away. Well, maybe he's right?
" I have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours researching what works and what doesn't and I'm willing to share"

The prices are too high in some cases, thats a fact but giving them away is just swinging the pendulum too far back.  Theres a happy medium somewhere and Dilberts creator sounds like he might be a Prius driver to me.

There's a difference between a painstaking restore of an old muscle car, rare car, or classic, and restoring something like a 77 Datsun B210 :)
[ŌŌ]ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ[ŌŌ] = 68
[ŌŌ][ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ][ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ][ŌŌ] = 69
(ŌŌ)[ƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗ](ŌŌ) = 70

Ghoste

I don't think they were making any distinctions though.  I take it as a broad brush.

Didn't mean for this to turn into a Dilbert/ Scott Adams bash.

As an engineer, I find most of it hilarious. Some of it strikes frightenly close to home. I can handle being the occasional butt of a joke. I'm still a fan.

A friend pointed this strip out... I thought the idea of restoring cars as "garbage" was a BS line. I went to dilbert.com and clicked on "contact us" and wrote this..

QuoteI wanted to write to let you know i'm appalled at your strip considering the restoration of classic as garbage. I guess it would be difficult for someone who sits on their ass all day and comes up with mediocre comics <at best> to understand the actual work involved in the restoration of a piece of American history. Great job alienating millions of people with actual talent.

I suggest you should also do the same :-) post up what you says.

It's just a comic strip.  Nothing worth getting all upset about. :Twocents:
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

It didn't say Mopars, it said old cars. I take that to mean brand X.

So now it's funny.
