Years ago I was excited when I heard the Speed channel was coming out. Once I saw some of it, I wasn't interested & hardly watch anything on it. I will flip past it to see what is on & will occasionally sit through Car Crazy & My Classic Car, but it depends on what they have on or who they interview. Gearz is okay once in a while, but that also depends on the project he has. As for any of the girly bitchfest reality shows, forget it. I try to avoid that crap in every day life so why purposely sit through it?   :shruggy:

The one show I used to look for & really miss is Junkyard Wars.   ::)

I agree with you exactly on this. Although, I never liked Junk Yard Wars. I did like American Trucker and  the other one that was about dangerous jobs that involved driving.

I miss that show too, liked the ideas some of them had.

I used to like NHRA Today and Lost Drive-In.

TUFCAT

I really liked to watch "Wrecked", "Passtime" and of course "Pinks".  These were some of the best original programs from Speed.  I also miss the "High School Drags" program that only lasted two seasons. :'(

Speed TV was to become the NASCAR Chanel when fox bought it and renamed it speed. They found out there isn't enuff NASCAR programming to fill 24 hours and not enuf car people to watch car shows so in order to pay the bills thay started adding crazy stupid shows. Now fox is just dumping all the car stuff except NASCAR for another espn style network.  :brickwall: :brickwall:

Face it most of us are a nitch  group.

Velocity has Mecum live and its much more realistic real world muscle car prices . Not perfect but much better then BJ

I agree!

I have Comcast and Speed is in the $20 more a month package - F that!  Haven't watched it in years, and I'm fine with it based on Velocity and Sunday morning Spike Network. :2thumbs:
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!
