way too much money for the condition it's in and what needs to be done, fixed or replaced. car has been wrecked before as seen by the bondo cracking in left front fender

I say cut the price in half and it would be in the ballpark

exactly. Price should be just 50%.
Matching numbers? There aren't any numbers on the engine that match the VIN in 1967.
Cars was on ebay before, offered from a private person. Auction startet at 10k but no one ever bid on it

I agree with the previous posts that it would at the most be a $8k car, needs new tail lights ($500), two front fender or body work, ($400 each), bumpers repaired and rechromed ($500 or so each), rebuild engine and transmission (even though it runs it does not state it has been rebuilt recently around $4000), the interior will need everything replaced (bring your vault of gold), you will be into it for more than it will be worth when car has been completely rebuilt and shiny new paint and chrome.  I don't like how perfect the fender tag looks, the frame rails look really good, does it state he has the build sheet.

Walk away and don't look back.  Robert

Definitely 50% off, but why not pick up one already done for more?  Once you finish it God knows what the final price will be, let someone else do it, then pick it up when they cannot sell it in this market for a good price (less than it would have cost you to do it)
too many to list!

I can make the pics bigger to see anything.

they have been trying to sell this same car for a year to year and half now!!!  Its always posted on craigslist, but now it seems the owner has given it to a dealership to see if they can get more money out of it.  Originally the guy wanted I think 12k for it?  Dont remember.

12k is still way too much money for it
