Old Newspaper Classified Ads From 1977

I scanned some ads I found in an old newspaper. The paper was used as packing materials in a box of junk. The paper is called The Bergen Record, a northern New Jersey publication. I used to deliver this newspaper on my bike, too.   

Top middle column - 69 Dodge "Good on gas"...

I saved another old paper with some ads but I can't find it at the moment. I also have an old Want Ad Press that was a local publication where I lived in NJ for a while.

Man,that's depressing. Even accounting for inflation, the $2795 Roadrunner would be about $16.5K in todays money and the $3395 Superbird about $20K

Interesting, but using that calculator and taking the price of gas when I started driving,  Gas should be $1.52 now, which is actually about what its worth.
