When the days get shorter and the nights get long.....
Do you get bothered by it all? do the short days, the cold temps, the rain/snow get to you?
It does get to ME. I hate the cold. I hate the winter. It sucks to have to wear more  clothes just to stay warm. The early sunsets suck the motivation away from me too.
What about you?

The early nights bother me the most.  Seems like I'm in more of a hurry during the winter to get everything done before it gets dark.  The extra clothes are just a nuissance.  But, I do enjoy the clear nights and seeing the stars and space junk overhead

Sure does!  For me what makes things worse is I have a small garage.  IF, I had a decent garage to work in, I would be happy to be working on a car.

I just wait until mid March at this point.....   :RantExplode:

No worse than the spring, summer and fall blues.

Just wish it was warmer...miss going to the late night fri-sat meets and not wearing 2 coats and freezing my balls off.

Quit your whining; winter has barely started in Maine, but don't worry, it'll be over in April.  ;)

The weathers been teasing us in CT... Very cold, then Warm and rain, back to friggin cold and ice but no real snow yet.   It does get depressing going to work In the dark and rushing home to take the dog for a walk before its too dark!  :brickwall:
Today I need to put a sander and plow back on the truck as the magic 8 ball (weatherman) says snow next week!
I have a 2 car garage, but no insulation or heat so it's tough to spend any real time working with 6 layers of clothes on.... Future goal, small stove in corner of garage to heat the whole space!   :yesnod:

Doesn't really bother me. After having two brutal summers of 100 days over 100 im lovin this. The last 2 winters have been warm in Kansas with no snow. It's nice to go in the garage and throw a little wood in the stove to work on the car. We have been the drought for the last couple of years we need some rain...i can do without the snow though.

We pray for rain here.  Red70, a heavy weekend rain for you is as much as we get the whole year.  So yes I feel for you.  You could always take the boat out on Folsom. Won't be much traffic.   :icon_smile_big:
That is if there is any water in it.

I was affected very badly with it , where I lived we had roughly 90 days / year without frost , snow on any day year round , & the sun would barely come over the horizon in the day in the winter, now I live in Panama & I am far better for it , I should have moved here when I was 2 !

I drive by the lake to and from work. It has risen about 8-10 feet in the last month.

Can't let it bother me as there is nothing I can do about it other than move and that is not an option at this time.  I save indoor projects for the winter and just work on them while it is cold out.  I'm happy that I have a heated garage soI can still get things done on the cars!  :2thumbs:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .
