        No need to apologize, it's expected there will be differences. As to the maple syrupy, I am curious, imitation or real maple.....cuz there's one **** of a difference. Your mention of cane syrup kinda makes me think it's not available there. Or if it is, it's not the same as what I like....Vermont Fancy grade.

                          not corn syrup made from sugar cane (golden syrup) think its one step on  from molasses. only tried the one in the bottle probably fake  ,left an after taste. I'll have to look next time I'm at shops
