Someone want to tell me what happened here.  This started out as someone complaining about the hate ( which I'm tired of too, but my share will be over with shortly), and then this thread went gay after the Mrs said immaturity.  Did I miss something?


As far as going and getting a Coronet or Bee, I'm all for it if you can't find a charger.  Essentially the same car, some of which have the same or better options.  I do know of a possible 69 Bee that's triple green  383 4spd here in MO.  Dunno if he still has it or what condition it's currently in.  Last time I seen it, it needed paint and had a knock in the motor, but the body was fairly straight.

2)   If you own a GL you more than likely look at other people's tallywackers.

And it isn't normally like this.  Disagreements happen but in 7 years I don't know that I've seen it like this before.  This reminds me of the old Charger board and some of the political battles that took place in the off topic section.

Should be easier to understand why a good number of long time members have left the site or just don't post anymore.

Maybe they got tired of the stuffy, overly-obcessed, numbers matching, purist croud putting down GL/any Car, in three different threads? Each lasting 10 more pages than there "Hemicar/Superwingcar/440=6 car build" Just a thought...Two sides to that glass.

I think there are too many from Moparts here as the problem, but Alas, I could be wrong, so I don't start a thread about it here. The thing is, the GL folks are only replying to the thread when "Put down"...We didn't start this sh*t. Some will fight for what they believe, and some will be Sheeple that will follow the croud and sell out when it comes time to step up. I for one am NOT the latter. You come at me, I'm coming at you. Simple. None of this woulda happen, if the damn threads wouldn't have been brought up in the first place.

Any of the older forum participants that I've spoken to about why they don't participate anymore I cna assure you it has little or nothing whatsoever to do with the GL and in fact more than a few of them would qualify as the "purists" which are being so callously assaulted on an ongoing basis.
For more than a few of them its about threads becoming off topic playgrounds including the playground requisite squabbling.  And yes, I am as guilty as anybody but Cooter isn't the only one who suffers from "come at me Im coming at you" disease.
The mods need to lock all five of these threads and make us do a time out.
