Do a search here on radio conversions. There's a couple places you can send it to have it repaired and upgraded.

Am I reading that correctly?  You got an AM 8 Track for $125 and it's not at total pile?  :o You got a great deal  :2thumbs:   Last I recall that was the price for a standard AM radio that might not work?

If it does work, restore it, don't core it for new electronics. There aren't many of those around.  :Twocents:  I have an AM/FM in my 69 that needs the volume wheel fixed. Ill get a crappy AM core to do the electronics upgrade to.

Not anymore.

"We no longer service wonder bar or signal seek radios. As of Jan 1 2012, We still service most Mopar,
Delco (GM) or Ford AM FM radios , but no longer service 8 track radios of any kind.We will continue to service AM radios from most models"

Darn - That sucks - they do great work.

Wow, that does suck.  They fixed up our AM 8 track radio in our challenger about two or so years ago.  They also did the repair to my AM radio and added the MP3 port to it.   Wonder why they stopped working on the 8 track part?
