Have you paid attention to the market lately?  It's a buyer's market.

Reading your other thread it sounds like you paid $25k.  Unfortunately today you paid about $10k too much.
Now is when most OPs' gets mad at us & tells us we don't know what we're talking about. ;)

It sucks that you're in this spot where you'd entertain destroying the car and $10k for pride.

I was wondering when the "Give it away because nobody's buying" comments were gonna bring out this side of people. Well lookie here, even the nicest of people can be pushed into making a comment like this...Whooda thunk it?

It's alright fm 70 rt, I got the same thing when trying to offer mine up for sale and I threatened to take a video of it being crushed and send it to one lowballer/vulture. It's ok, I knopw where you are coming form, just bad time to be trying to sell something. Everybody seems to think these cars are everywhere and can be had for peanuts. Simply sit on it for a while until economy rebounds and then sell it. Right now, all you have is a bunch a flippers looking to score low/sell high.

Times are tough.

For fun i did a search on all of craigslist this week for 69-70 R/T's. There was quite a few deals out there now on solid projects. Way more than when i was buying back in 2008.

that is why i put the the smiley icon up....it was a joke , i would never destroy a mopar out of pride or ignorance . It is definetly a buyers market , the car isnt eatin' anything so it can stick around . I was trying to get some opinions regarding the price . When i buy i try to buy smart so i dont end up upside down . This hobby is a pure luxury for me & gives me a piece of the past i can reflect on and wonder what life was like for everyone else when i was just a child .
My hopes with my cars are that i can provide some of those same memories for my children that i have so when they are grown and have a family of there own they can understand why i did the things i did raising them and teaching them to be responsible caring people who make a difference in their lives and the lives of the people around them . I love my cars but my family is 1st  :2thumbs:

fm3 means alot to some but nothing to others, (in fact some might take it as a turn off) so by banking on the color/rarity you are somewhat limiting your pool of buyers. ( or at least the ones that will pay for pink) That being said a pink 70 rt is my dream car. I tried selling my project '69 thinking it would be a fairly easy way to drum up some $$$... but instead I just got a first hand look at all the craigslist fools. You will get offerd 2k probably so be prepared for every kind of kno it all/flipper/dreamer/ and the just plain stupid. Its more trouble then its worth, especailly if your selling a car that you DONT want to in the frist place. My advice is sell anything else frist and dont expect to get your asking price.

There are MANY guys who will pay for pink.   :slap:

Very true, the pink plays a huge role but I still dont think fm3 2x the value of a car (especailly a project), but who knows maybe?
If any color could it, it would definatly be panther pink!

  Glad  you get to hang onto it for now.  Mine may stay a project for a while longer but i've had it for so many years I wouldn't want to part with it.
