Fuel tank vent leak

On my 70 R/T's' fuel tank there are 2 lines coming from the sender disc, the main fuel line and return line.  Currently, the "return line" has about a 2' hose clamped to the fitting and is tied up above the tank for venting.  My problem is I cannot stop the line from leaking fuel from the base where it is hose-clamped on to the tank.  I have replaced the hose and the clamp twice and it still leaks??? Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Is it a new sending unit or an old one?  Do you have the right size hose?

Not a new sender, good fit on the hose.  It is a dumb problem i agree, got me
Stumped.  Was curious if anyone ran in to this pita problem....  Will go after it again
