Need help finding a gun I would like- Beretta 96FS .40

I've got a Beretta 92FS 9mm in the standard blued finish and have been looking for a few months for a Beretta 96FS .40 cal Stainless so I can have a matching set of these guns. From my understanding they do not make this gun anymore so I'm guessing if they don't I'm going to be searching for a used one. I called a few gun shops in town and they were less than helpful- Basically " I don't have one and I probably can't get one" -

Does anyone have a Stainless 96FS .40? If so do you like it? I love my 92FS 9mm.

What should I pay for a excellent condition used one?

Check the online auction sites like gunbroker, gunsamerica, etc.  You would have to have it shipped to a local gunshop/FFL holder. Always a route to go if you can not find one locally.

I saw a few used ones for sale around the $750 range, was wondering if that sounded about right for the .40 stainless? I remember my 92fs 9mm was right under $500 brand new with two magazines.
