Are the control arms and ball joints the same on 66 and 67?
This is gonna be cheap and easy......

Yes, for all intents and purpsoes anyway.  The 67 sway bar mount may be different but that doesn't affect the control arm fit or function.  Ball joints are the same.

Well thanks, ill get those bushings pressed...

So is it 67 arms you are putting on your 66 car?

Dodgerdallas

I've got 67 parts on the floor and bushings/ball joint coming from parts geek,I'll press those and change em out this weekend...

Ive ordered and will install control arm bushings and all 4 ball joints-on the lower control arm,is there anything I need to do to the inner end that connects to the long (torsion?) bar? I dont see a bushing.

technically, it's the late 66 & 67's that are the same...the early build 66's (before March, 1966) has different lower control arms without sway bar mounting tabs

You can go to:

http://www.retrorarities.com/1967ChargerCollision.pdf
and compare the numbers but Bryan is correct, originally early 66's were different.
I believe that replacement parts were superseeded to 67 stuff.

That is what I was saying though.  Sway bar mounting difference but fit and function of the control arm itself is not different.  I didn't know the late 66 made the change to a 67 style though.  Interesting to think of "late build" 66 Chargers when they didn't start dishing them out until January of 66.

Heres the bushing im speaking of,this is a 67 control arm that im rebushing for my 66 that im currently driving-just wanted to make sure their the same before I order the bushing and had it pressed....also,the front end pulls to the left badly and looking at the car from the front in the driveway the bottom of the left tire is kicked way out-control arm bushings? ball joints?

Got the lower control arm off and took it to get my bushings pressed, the kid pressed the bushing in first and then stood the shaft up and tried to press it in the bushing w/o placing anything under it and the bushing sleeve pushed out the bottom-17.50 down the drain and ill either have to wrestle it back out or pay a competent shop to press it out then a new one in again.Does the bushing go in the arm first and the shaft is pressed into the bushing or is the shaft pressed into the bushing then their both pressed in the arm as a unit?
