Any 427 Biscayne 4-doors produced in the mid to late 60's?

not that I've seen, only the SS- Impala 427.. with the funny hood..

So I guess there were some, seems chevy and the other GM makes (especially Pontiacs) were continually sneakin these COPO cars out the back door, tales abound of secret projects for Penske, Jim Hall the "Brass" and "Ringer" cars relesed to the press for tests...

Thanks... the reason I ask is about 2 years ago I got next to a late 60's white 4-dr Biscayne and I thought the fender read "427".  Might have been a 327 and I read it wrong... not sure.

Avery long time ago, I owned a 67 4 door Biscayne w/a 427. It was an ex-state police car.

Come to think of it, My uncle used to have a 67 Fullsize wagon with a 427. He used to tow his 24' Bayliner fishing boat with it.   Go figure, a boat towing a boat!  :D

I guess I am sick or something but that wagon sounds like a nice cruiser.

There was a gold 66/67 (?) 427 Biscayne wagon at Musclepalooza 1 at LVD 2 years ago.   It won best chebbie,  and did pretty good in the drags too.

How about what is this behind the backseat of this Nova that was as the body shop last night?  I didnt know and neither did they.

my great grandmother had a 427 in her 69 kingswood estate wagon,my grandpa ordered it new,so he had enough power to pull his camper,and she drove it until the state took away her license in 90.i drove it for 2 winters and then my uncle took it and used it around his shop until the frame broke,and he pulled the big block,its in his tow truck now!

 When I was in the army in 1969 at Fort Sill OK. I remember a white 67 or 68  427 Impala 4 door on the base.The thing that stuck out was the 427 on the fenders.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I'd say yes, & probably no different to a Chebby guy than a Coronet or a Satellite with a 440 in it to a Mopar guy. I think the Biscayne could be better compared to the base Belvedere maybe. With all the factory HP cars getting too pricey, I think the 4 doors & wagons in really nice shape will be semi-collectible to a lot of people.

my last derby cars had that same little tube (71 Caddy Coupe Devile) it also had little "vents" in the trunk, so we figured it was for the people you stuffed in teh trunk too...

Any idea if it's tied to the fuel system? I have a vent pipe in my '71 Scamp, but it's adjacent to the filler tube inside the actual trunk & looks like a second filler tube. If I recall, my '71 Barracuda has it also. I think it was part of the vapor & emmission system that year.
