Or any Mopars for that matter?  He seems to like them in his movies so I wondered, I know we have discussed other celebrities in other threads but I can't recall Quentin in them.

NO...he uses them to get more ticket sales and its obvious.

Very few celebrities these own cars that they love...these days they know whatever sells tickets they will put it in the movie.  Vin Diesel does not even like MOPARs, but is now associated with a CHARGER.  The only person in that movie thats likes cars is Paul Walker he likes imports though.

Tarantino uses them as a nod to all the popular reasons you can imagine and Dukes has to be up there in inspiration. He was in James Best's Theater Company when he was a teenager and when Best was still doing Dukes. He was a big fan of Best's work.

Damn Ghoste you ask the strangest questions.

According to the World Wide InterWeb, which is never wrong, here's a young Quentin with his first Mopar. Allegedly.  :hah:

1958 Dodge Pick Up, 383, loud
1966 Dodge Van, /6, slow

I wouldn't expect Diesel or Walker to be into them, there was nothing there to indicate such.  Tarantino on the other hand has used them in a number of films much like David Spade has and Spade is into them.
As for strange questions, my friend you have no idea.

Walker likes the imports such as the GTR among other things...David Spade loves mopars....

I didn't think it mattered who owns a Charger or any Mopar.  I'm just not one to care what the celebrities have.  Just another person to me.  If they're fans of the nameplate or bodystyle, they'd be on here. :coolgleamA:

It doesn't MATTER, I do however remain curious about many many things and the motivation of some people to do certain things is one of them.  Tarantino features Mopar in many of his films and that makes me go "hmmm, I wonder why?".  Nothing more, nothing less.

I guess you know what happened to the cat, don't you?  Don't tell Fred, he's still trying to spot the cat.

I know what happened to the cat.  I also know what happens to mushrooms.

Does anyone know if David Spade owns some mopars?  I know the vert in Tona and RR in Joe dirt belonged to others.  Not sur abot the GTX vert in Tommy boy.  He sure has driven some nice mopars :2thumbs:

Tarantino was just paying respect to all his childhood movies that were not so "Mainstream" like VP, DMCL, etc. Dukes influence as well as DMCL can CLEARLY be seen when the door shot of black Charger has a chunk of paint missing and there's Orange paint underneath with Vector wheels.

As for the Black Nova? Have No idea. Just another car I guess.

I have a vague recollection of Vin Diesel expressing some love for Mopars (and muscle cars in general) on one of the dvd bonus features.

If he were a Mopar, surely, he'd be a 62 Polara.
