That's a cool pic & I remember seeing a replay of it once. That must have mellowed out Ventura & taught him a lesson though. When he was on both the Mets & Yankees, he always seemed really laid back & not the type of guy to charge the mound. Ryan was always one of my favorite players, he pounded him pretty good that time. I have a baseball he autographed soon after he threw strike out #5000. Wonder if anyone will close in on his record? (I doubt it.)
