Bought a 75 Newport What should I keep before crushing

I just bought a 75 Chrysler Newport for the drive train and will need to get it out of the yard asap after I pull it.  I see a good 3 speed wiper but is there anything else I should tuck away for future use that would apply to 68-70 B Body.  I'll offer it for parts to anyone needing to get something but I'll be sending to the crusher for scrap weight soon after the motor and tranny are pulled.

oh keep those wheel covers for sure           :eek2: :smilielol:

Looks like it's in decent shape, but too bad it's not that desirable of a car.

What rear is in that thing? Some of these old boats were bought to tow with & it could be a sure grip.

What seats does it have? Bench? Buckets?   :shruggy:

I pulled the power buckets with the buddy seat from a '73 New Yorker years ago & used them in my Satellite convertible. They're more comfortable & "just fit" but not correct. If it has P/Seats & the mechanism works & might be worth hanging onto.   :Twocents:

Do the power window motors interchange with anything else?

The story on the car is:  It had 22's on it and was stolen.  The steering column got damaged and when the car was located a garage replaced the column and whatever else.  The owner couldn't come up with the repair costs so a new title was awarded to the garage for the mechanics lien.  Judging by the former owners address (of which I know the area) and the bullet hole through the rear qtr behind the drivers passenger window which lodged in the drivers seat back,  I'd hazard a guess that the car was from a drug and other unlawfull conduct part of town  :2guns:.  Anyway it comes with a clear title and the 400 motor and tranny runs good and I'll switch out the motor in the Chally with it and put the 440 in the Superbird clone for now to get it started back on.  I can't keep the car out in the front yard in my neighborhood for long with the motor and tranny out to sell off in parts so the quickest way will be to get a good chunk of cost back at the scrap yard after I sell off whatever I can  it in a weeks time.  I just thought there might be somethings I'd be doing good to keep and sell/use later but don't have enough knowledge what they would be.  I pick the car up Friday

I think its got those fat single side seats up front but not like buckets.  Almost looks like a bench when they're togethor in the same place but I didn't pay much attention to that part.

Maybe I should try an Ebay add for the whole thing and see if it goes as a parts car to someone in need  :shruggy:

Would anything much be the same between these and the typical "Bluesmobiles"? 1974 Dodge's?

Looks like maybe some sheet metal might be able to be used. Kinda like a '66 Coronet quarter panel patch used on a '66 Charger?

Maybe..

what about the disc brake set up? can it be used on anything else?

and then, cut the rear quarters and frame off and make a  thinking couch out of it. :2thumbs:

Another vote not to crush it.  Throw it on Ebay/Craigslist first.

Besides, would a car crusher even be able to hurt that thing?  I'm thinking a ship-breaking yard in Southeast Asia might be more feasible.

Nice addition, isn't it?   :2thumbs:

When I see the manual 6 way adjusters for $500 or $600 & up, I can't help but think the power ones should be worth thousands.

It's a big block car, right, so don't worry.  :icon_smile_big:

They are heavy, until I can get them recovered, I carried the non-power seat up the ladder to the 2nd floor of the garage in one piece, but had to take the driver seat up in 2 pieces to store them.
