383 rest in peice now we need a new combo

Our 383 spun a rod or broke one.. not sure havnt got it apart yet. We are thinking 400 block stroked to 500ci. Its a mostly street full weight 69 charger with 4:10 gears. Whats the best combo without busting the bank for a high 11 second street car? go to 440 or stroke a 400?

No substitute for cubes as they say.  There are a few great combos outlined in the combo forum though, you might have to read them all to pick the right one for you.
