So does any one here have a 2008 Magnum SRT8?  They made as I recall 220 or 230 of them, 19 blue.  I want to buy a blue one, does know of one (before I cave to a new challenger)?

My girlfriend's dad has a black one. Its one of 25 built for Canada. He LOVES it. Its a gorgeous car.

Ok, so I found this out in the web.  Honestly I can't imagine they will turn into a GNX, Hemi conv Cuda or something in the long run, I just want one to drive for a while.  The one yr front end is starting to look fairly dated now and the wagon thing must show my age :smilielol: :smilielol:

"The 2008 Magnum SRT8 has the lowest production numbers of all SRT8 models for any model year. Only 232 were built (207 USA, 25 Canada, including 11 pre-production models, some of which were later sold at retail).

By color:

Black: 119 (51.29%)
TorRed: 50 (21.55%)
Silver: 34 (14.66%)
Blue: 29 (12.50%) "

Ghoste

I don't if it shows your age or not, I've noticed a pretty wide age demographic driving them myself.

RIDELIKEHELL

Wow! I didn't realize the production numbers were that low :shruggy:

I don't think there are any SRT models which are what you would call high production numbers.

The 2008 Front bumper cover was an unwelcomed version of UGLY.  If I recall the car was slated to die in 2007 so most of these early 2008's were built as cheapies...mostly SE, and SXT's for rental cars and fleets.  2008 R/T Hemi versions are extremely rare to find and I don't recall ever seeing a 2008 SRT Magnum.

Apparently Magnums sold better in Canada than in the US.  :shruggy:

Ghoste

Not really.  Maybe a handful more than usual around the Bramalea area?

What year is that SRT with the hoodscoop?  If that's a 2008 I might have to eat my words!  :2thumbs:

c00nhunterjoe

Judging by the tag that reads "rare 08" I'm going with 08........  :nana:

That it?  no other charger/wagon guys?

Ghoste

Doesn't look like it.  So are you going with one of these or a new Challenger?

69bronzeT5

Like I said, I LOVE my 2005. It's super comfortable to drive and does 13 second 1/4 mile times. I once beat a new Camaro RS with a pair of tires and a pair of '70 Coronet fenders in the back  I take it drag racing all the time (not with the stuff in the back though ;)) My girlfriend's SRT8 Jeep does 12.6 1/4 mile times with just a CAI and Predator tune on it....

I think it looks great Cody. Can't get them here though. The best on offer is the Chrysler 300c touring.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.
