It's sad to say, but they make you jump through all the hoops in order before they get to the real answers. Then the insurance company doesn't want to pay, so on & so on. Just hang in there Jackie, we are all here for you.  :2thumbs:.

Wishing you and your family a joyful Thanksgiving.  I will be calling my doctor next week with my results, injection did not give my right arm relief (still have numbness to my right hand).  Robert

I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon on Nov 26. So I hope he figures out something.

After his shock of seeing your blood is Hemi Orange, I hope he finds a real solution for your pain.

Best of luck.  :2thumbs:

Hi Jackie
I called my neurosurgeon with the results my injection at C6-C7 directed right.  I still have numbness in my right hand and forearm, but I have some relief at my upper neck.  Next is my visit with the neurosurgeon for a discussion about surgery, I feel pretty nervous about this discussion.

I sent prayers for you and hope you will be dancing soon.  Robert

I saw the neurosurgeon today. He is sending me for a bone scan. he thinks a vertebrae is broke and they missed it. And is gonna start traction for my neck to try to get some relief. At least I finally got a doc who actually listen to me about my pain level. And is trying to figure out what is going on. Thanks for caring everyone. Hugs, Jackie

He said it depends on the type of fracture it won't show up on an x-ray or MRI>

Hi, everyone. Thanks for checking on me. Your emotional support means the world to me.    The neurosurgeon I saw this week also set me up  with a pain specialist. I can't get into Jan 8th. But at least someone is trying to help. My bonescan is Dec 28th. I go back to see the neurosurgeon on Jan 7th for the results from the bonescan. I also reported the leg surgeon . He won't give me my MRI reports and told me to come back in 6 months. He treated me like crap because my insurances got crossed up and I could hear him cussing . It was a mess.  So, I have a few thinks to think about for another leg surgeon. At least it's on his permanent record now, so he doesn't treat anyone else like that. So it looks like things are moving in a better direction.

Stay strong kiddo! You can & will get through this.

Jackie, those MRI reports are yours.  You (or your insurance) paid to have the MRI done.  He is with holding your property essentially.  You should be entitled to have your copies of x-rays, MRI, etc.  If you have a friend in either a local PD or PA state police, Id run that past them to see what they say.

Hi Jackie
I want to wish you a happy 12/12/12.  It won't come again for another 100 years.

I got another phone call today from my neurosurgeon, I have an appointment set to see a neurologist for a neurology consult, next is an appointment with the neurosurgeon to discuss the results from the cervical discogram and neurology consult, then....... probably whether or not to operate and how well I could recover.  I guess I will be flipping a coin figuring out if I will be in less pain after the cervical surgery or the way I feel now with my pain medication.  I think I now the answer.

 Robert
