I talked to Jackie on facebook the other day and she apologized for not getting on her as much as she has wanted mainly because of the pain and not being able to sit for that long.  She is very touched by everyones generosity and has her own way of saying thank you to everyone on here and cuda-challenger.com.  Im sure as soon as she is able to sit for long enough without too much discomfort she will be back on here to explain more that has happened.  Yes she is slowly getting out and about but mainly for necessary things only.

I don't want to step on anyones toes by letting classified info out so I will let her chime in on that part of it.   :pity:

Wow, you really know what I'm going thru. I'm so sorry  :pity:  And with the pinched nerves from the bulging disc in my neck makes my hands numb and tingley. Real fun with crutches. And the pinched nerves from the bulging discs in my back makes the pain so bad down my right leg( the only one I can stand on ) I had surgery on the left leg.  :brickwall:  Then they make me go in for blood work because I'm losing weight and I told them I'm sick on  my stomach because of the pain. But I had to go anyway. And there wasn't anything else wrong. Thank god.

71ChallengeHer

So I really have a lot of catching up to do with everyone. I had my 3rd and last epidural. It didn't help.  :brickwall: :brickwall: I see the back doc on the 16th and the leg doc on the 23rd. I'm sorry I haven't been on. With Doc appointments and me trying to get some things done. Has put me in a lot of pain. So I have been stuck to the sofa cuddling with the kitties.  :pity:

Hey Jackie!

May i ask, how much we've given so far? Not sure if im stepping on toes but im just curious to see how were doing.
Frank, You guys and gals from DC.com and CC.com have raised a little over $2000 including mail and paypal. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. All my bills are paid up to date.   :2thumbs: :2thumbs:  I have cut all my household expenses done to the bare minimum. I have also been dealing with SSI ,huge pain in the butt. But I qualified it kicked in this month I get $711.10 a month while I'm off work. It's not a lot but it will cover my rent and 2 small bills a month.  :2thumbs:  So, As you can see I have been a little busy. Plus there is more ..........................

My mom went through exactly what you are going through , a bad disc in her lower back pinched the Psyatic [sp] nerve , total agony in any position , the docs told her she had to wait 11 months just to get an MRI to see what was going on & were going to prescribe morphine for 11 months !! We had to force her through emergency & that took 3 days sitting in emerg for 12-16 hrs before she was seen , she had laser surgery twice & that fixed it , it still took 3 weeks for the pain to subside though .

I don't wish this shit on anyone. I'm a veteran going through the VA. I got am MRI after 5 months, steroids after another. Now it's a two week wait to see if I can skip the shots and go straight to the knife.. I writhe constantly..

Guys and gals. I promise I'll get back to everything else that has been happening. I'm hurting pretty bad today.  :brickwall: :brickwall: I had to deal with a sick kitty. Thank goodness Shelby volunteers at a cat rescue. So she called Lori and she came here and checked Dexter out so we didn't have to take him to the vets and got him started on meds. My poor little buddy. I was pretty stressed out not being able to get out of the house and get him to the vets. And Shelby was at school. She called when she got home.  :2thumbs:   Dexter is the big fluffy one. Well, I'm gonna go take the hottest shower I can stand.

Hope you and the kitty get to feeling better.  Glad you dropped in. :2thumbs:

So, Dexter is on is 2nd dose of antibotics. He is out and about. He seems to be feeling better all ready.  :2thumbs:

So, a little bit more of what has been going on. Since my 92 Daytona was sitting here and I can't drive it anymore. Shelby can't drive a stick. The Daytona sat for 4 months last year when I broke my femar.  :brickwall: I'm paying insurance on a car we can't use. We had a family meeting and decided it was time to sell it. My friend I rent the garage from told me if I ever want to sell it he wanted it. He knew how dependable it was and how good of care I took of it. So I gave him a call and he wanted so he could save money on gas since his Ram was a gas hog. So I sold the 92. It got a good home. Don loves it.  :2thumbs:  So, time to look for an automatic so we have a back up car and to get me semi mobile. And when I'm ready to go back to work, I have a car. So my brother said if I find something and need extra money he will lend me the difference and I can pay him back when I get back to work. He's layed off from work. And has some health issues also. But is a great brother. So it was  time to cruise craig's list. My dream was to find the old lady, old man's car. LOL. So did it happen ?  :popcrn: :popcrn:

TheGhost

You called on an ad that listed an "old dodge", talked to an old lady, and bought a HEMI Daytona with a four speed for a couple grand?
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I think we did a really great job for Jackie so let's give a big Cheer to all of us! :grouphug:

But I also know once you get overdue bills caught up they'll never stop coming. :eek2:

I motion to continue helping with whatever extra offerings we can send.  :engel016:  Everyone is different.  Some gave big the first time others said they could give more, and others said they would give whenever they could.  :2thumbs:

From a personal standpoint I never felt better about helping someone who really deserved it.  :yesnod: :yesnod:  Please continue to help Jackie with any financial gifts you can spare so she doesn't have to worry about her future as much. THANK YOU!

I love you guys and gals . Shelby and I can never thank you enough for what you have done to lift my spirits. When I started my WIW thread, I don't think I ever felt that helpless in my life. And when I can't get on the computer, I read my scrapbook with my messages from everyone and it makes me feel a lot better. It's not just the money , it is all the emotional support you all have given me.  And I don't know how I can ever thank you enough. You understand that even though I'm a women I bleed Mopar blue just like you guys.    :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

It's easy to give up and walk away from everything. But those that do not, will always be repaid in the best way possable and that is in love and caring. That means, even though you may have a tough time, we will still stand, fight, and have each others back forever. Life is hard, but it always best when you have each other to make it through. Don't let something that can be fixed, rip apart the things you dream of. You'll get through it as long as we believe in each other.  And I think it is safe to say, all of us here and on C-C.com care and believe. :yesnod:

As I said in a PM to you Selling your car would not help you ..... you would have felt alone , helpless & depressed not a good way to be when you need to heal . It is not just the $$ yes selling your car would pay the bills but you needed more than that . If 1/2 of the members here donated $1/ month you would have more than you need  + you could start to build a Hemi !! .
I am glad & proud we could help you .
