So what would you pay if you found a RUST FREE other than the minimal Trunk Pan area, 69 Charger R/T restoration project non matching numbers, but has all the parts plus extras

hawkeye

i recently bought a 70 charger 500, non matching, ready for paint with parts and parts car for $5000.  at the time i thought it was a steal but now it is setting in the tremendous amount of work and money it will take to complete the car.

Couple thousand bucks.  Unless its Green or Brown, then $1.   :icon_smile_big:

No pictures yet but here are the Details:
- Body stripped down to metal, no rust other than minor in the trunk pan.  Arizona car, never seen snow Floor pans like the day it left the factory
- All trim is included,
-Front grill is mint.
- Tons of new yet to be installed parts.
- Just Rebuilt 18 spline 4spd 0 miles
- 440 with all new parts ready to assemble
- Dana 4:10 reared
- Front end, doors, valance all freshly painted and waiting to be hung
- Compete extra Dash unit with tic-tac gauges and 8 track mint dash cap
So all that it needs is paint on the main unibody, the assembly

I look at is this:

$30k car when done, less paint/body cost, less time to assemble, less the inevitable missing parts

versus

Maybe $4k for a 'complete' R/T disassembled in bare metal, $10k? in parts

equals = $14,000 car

There was a '69 R/T on Ebay earlier this year that went for $20,500.  It was a roller in finish primer, underside already painted and detailed, 440, 4spd, Dana, and had all other parts for it apparently.
