Guys i have searched and found some info on the subject but i have a leak at the base of the sector shaft adjustment dome/hat and wanted to know if that comes off so i can access the larger O ring behind it.
I have already removed the outer threaded lock ring and removed the adjustment nut (keeping the same position of bolt) , removed the small O ring off the top of the hat.

Any help appreciated

I am in the same boat.  It looks like you/me have to unbolt the animal and have it rebuilt.  :brickwall:

Well apparently it has been rebuilt  :'( i can get to it all with not too much effort just need to hear from someone that has replaced the O ring to know if that hat just slides off as i cant get a good grip on it to move very much....the exploded diagrams i have looked at to me it just should come off...

If i can get it off then its just the O ring and then i reckon i'll be in business  :2thumbs:

SUCCESS!!!!!

Well after speaking to a local power steering shop they advised me to turn the wheels off centre (not sure why) and then turn the adjustment screw clockwise (castle nut and locking nut removed) this in turn drives the Domed hat upwards as the adjustment bolt is threaded into it.....

O ring seal behind the hat is alot thinner than i thought it would be so i will source a new one and put it all back together and i'm sure it will solve my leak :2thumbs:
(P.S yes i witness marked everything before i removed everything so i can be very close to where it was before i pulled it apart)

Learn... and teach others.  I never heard that before about starting with the wheels slightly off center.  Thanks.
