Power steering component weights

How much heavier is power steering in our cars than the standard?  Not just the box but the whole option (all components together).

The conversion is worth 40lbs in weight savings....all off the front of the car which is worth it for a dual purpose car that has too much weight on the nose to begin with. 

Couple that with a battery re-location and you're at close to 100lbs weight off the front end and 50lbs added out back to help with traction/weight transfer and improved weight distribution.

That much?  Thats quite a bit more than I had thought which is sort of why I asked in the first place.  Thanks Ron.

Aluminum heads and intake and maybe a fiberglass hood will save you an other 100+ lbs. Will feel like a hole new ride.
