Finally. . . after two years of sitting on a shelf, oh and changing the enemy from China to North Korea because "people" complained, they are finally releasing the movie.  Looks good, and Chris Helmsworth was a great choice for the lead role.  I can not wait to see this one.

Wolverines!  As for the enemy, there's no winning over the public in who to place as the bad guys.  These days you're bound to offend somebody, somewhere, somehow, someway.  Actually, I'll say that "I'm" offended that they chose Asians for the enemy lol.  BTW, there's nothing hotter than a Mustang with a gatling gun mounted on it... :smilielol:

I wondered what the holdup was I figured the "higher ups" figured it was giving out too much of their real plan!!

From everything I read, some in China were upset they were the "bad guys".  Apparently these were the same guys loaning this country money and had the power to say "change it".  Thats what happens when you do not have your house in order, those bailing you out, call the shots.

I don't know why they just did not leave the Russians as the bad guys. Guess to change it up a bit.  :shruggy:

Anyone notice that there is a 68 Charger in the parking lot in the opening scenes of the original movie?

The original was a John Milius project.

John Goodman's character from "Big Lebowski" was a comically exaggerated version of him.

I'm not sure how I feel about a remake of this one.  Red Dawn is one of my all-time favs.  I will have to wait and see before I say anything.

I still have some of the USSR paratrooper camo from that movie, it all went on sale a few years after the film was out.

I am in the same camp as Dan on this one.  I have watched the original move sooooooo many times it's ridiculous.
