Hard spot when steering

The car sat in the garage for almost three years. It was fine when I parked it. I did an engine swap and also put in a new ps pump. The car streers great except for on right turns getting close to lock. It just gets hard for a second then it's fine. Any idea whats going on? I can drive the car with a finger except for that point. If your not expecting it it could definatly cause you problems. thanks

ck for hitting steering linkage on exhaust,header or pipe if any of that might have been changed ?

ill have to check but not that im aware of.

I have the same problem. Always right turn, car is moving and mostly up hill turns. I remove the control valve, clean it out and change the 3 o-rings and its o.k. for a few months but problem comes back. Does not act up if I crank steering wheel right while car is not moving.

yeah i still got the problem. im definatly not hitting anything.

I forgot to mention that I have the fast pitman arm and the offset upper control arm bushings (3 deg positive caster). I just realized this past weekend that an extreme right turn will make the right side tire touch the frame and the left tire will touch the sway bar. However the hard spot occurs well before the locked position.
