68 Charger 383 Magnum... Car ran great now I'm having fuel problems after it sat for 3 months.

When cold the car cranks for a while but will eventually start and run great for about 20 minutes then all of a sudden gets no fuel. The tank, fuel line, pump, fuel filter, and carb are all new within the last couple months trying to fix this problem.

Just right now I got done installing a brand new fuel pump- Car fired up and I drove it for 20 minutes and it ran great, get home and am pulling in the driveway and it dies and will not restart- Look inside the carb at the squirters when hitting the throttle and no fuel again.

What else could it be? Everything related to fuel system is brand new:

New year one gas tank
Sending unit only a couple years old and in excellent condition
Replaced rubber fuel line and metal line going from pump to carb
New clear duralast fuel filter
Carter AVS carb completly rebuilt and restored by Old Carb Doc

Any ideas? I'm out of ideas and tired of throwing parts at it that obviously weren't the problem. Only thing I can think of is Vapor Lock but why would it be getting one everytime I drive it?

Thanks I'd appreciate it.

I'll check that thanks. It is a little piece of rubber line going out of tank, then metal line up and all the way down frame rail, then rubber line right out of frame rail to fuel pump, then metal line out of pump into a little section of rubber line with fuel filter, then metal line up to the carb

ALSO: just read Ron's awesome thread on Vapor Locks- My fuel filter is a standard plastic duralast fuel filter- could this be causing my problem? If so what is the best type of filter to put on the car?

Drive the car with the fuel cap off (up) and see if fine, the tank may not be venting. Check the little vent tube for a blockage.

I've always used a cheap plastic fram filter and I've never had a problem with it.
