It's 1911 all over again.  HOT and DRY.  Another 100 plus degrees outside.  It sucks.

I would rather be where you are than Colorado with all the fires and burned houses

but that's just me.....at least you got a house to go home to

True, but tomorrow is promised to nobody.  We just may have the same fate.  Except we don't have much to burn, here on the prairie. Our only shade is from a telephone poll. lol

Nature sucks at the moment.  :eek2:
Floods, fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, Tsunami's.   Too hot, too cold, too wet............
Maybe next year will be a good year.

Yep...

It's China's fault.  Their pollution is creating a enviromental nightmare here in the U.S. :P
I wish we never gave them cars.  :icon_smile_big:

Might as well.  The only people that work over there are the 10 year old's in the Factories.  :brickwall:
That is a crime by it's self.

There's enough rain here in Oregon right now for both Kansas and Colorado.

send some up here fred. :shruggy:

You'll be sorry Jim. I promised I would never complain about the rain again when it finally came.  But I'm already more than fed up with it. For one thing, I can't drive my baby.
It's funny how you can deal with days of heat and sun much better than days of wet weather. As for the fog, I'm going nuts here. Can't get out to do anything.  :pullinghair:

Bad dry in southern Indiana, reminds me of Arizona.

ACUDANUT

The worst drought in 100 years, or so I am told.  :brickwall:

You get used to it after a while though if you learn not to go outside until 9 PM or so.  The real bad thing is the low humidity leads to higher fire risk, but makes the hot temperatures easier to deal with during the day times.  In my area of NW Kansas, we actually have large dust storms occationally in the summer when it gets windy due to all of the plowed fields near our town.  We had a 100+ mph dry windstorm pass through last month and I am still finding dust in the house in areas that it should not be in.  Not fun to deal with.....
