I just watched this the other night and thought about posting it but figured I'd be posting something the dc.com veterans had seen 100 times.  Apparently I was wrong.

Anybody notice the red button on the left side of the mustang's column. About the 7:20 mark before he closes the door. Wonder what that was for?  Very interesting video tho.

The red button was for the Nitrous so it could keep up with the Charger

Was the button the release latch button for the clasp that held the Chargers bumper to the Mustang? I was told they had a hook like clasp and it was welded to the Chargers bumper and was used for the scene when the Charger goes for fireball pitstop!!
