2012 R/T Charger Premium base stereo upgrade?

ok new Chargers Alpine "preimum" sound 267 watt sound system does not have the sound my 2007 Magmum Boston Acoustics 267 watt system had, I see Mopar has Kicker up grade speakers, is this the correct way to go? any suggestions? has anybody installed these? ..thanks Dave

Don't know about the individual systems but I wonder if the wagon body style of the Magnum contributed to the interior acoustic properties of the car and made the Magnum a better listening environment?

Actually the best sound came from the speakers in the front doors and the dash..

no answer for you my charger has 1 speaker and only AM and the push button feature is mechanical.
