Check out this '68 Hemi Charger..................

http://rhcollectibles.com/showroom/1308/vehicle/583773/1968/Dodge-Charger-R/T?sold=0

I believe that this car's been for sale for at least 2 years and obviously, it's waaaaay overpriced. With the exception of a few detail items (sway bar links, overstuffed seats, upper radiator hose, choke heat tub missing, exhaust tips, etc.), it looks pretty clean and mostly correct, but for that kind of dough, I would not expect a completely undercoated floor pan.

So, I have to ask those who really do know Hemi cars (not you young General Lee whippersnappers); what do you think the value of a 68 Hemi Charger is really worth in today's market?

RECHRGD

Probably about half of what they're asking.......

My God! if I didn't have my car, I would buy it. The panels are beautifully aligned, the gaps perfect. Engine bay looks good. Interior clean. Plus a 4 speed. Nothing more to spend on it by the looks.
It cost me that to build my car. Not to mention the headache and all the drama plus the years spent putting it together.  :Twocents:

Looks like the OP needs some detergent.
FUNNY screen name!

that car is clean and awesome. what a restoration. i know watching the latest mecum auction that the mopars were a bit soft, and  hemi's were not bringing that kind of money, but then they didnt cover every inch of the car like these pic's did. if you have the cash, and need a real hemi car real bad, this is as clean as you will find.

I doubt that. It has the original drive train, it's a 4-speed, it's a rare color, has tons of options (for a 68), and it has plenty of documentation. However, I do believe the engine should still have a VIN stamp.

If you're wondering about the undercoating, here's my bronze 68:

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Wasn't this the car found in a barn? I remember in article in mopar muscle under rare finds.
Takes a MOPAR to catch a mopar!

Evn though I'm a general lee whipersnapper, I'm going to comment. In this economy I would say its not going to sell. IF it is exactly as advertised then I'm saying its worth 150k. I've seen cars at barret jckson sell for double that that were not as nice. The problem is everyone is afraid to spend money right now. That's a lot of dough to dump on a car. If the right person comes along I bet it will sell, but those guys are few and far between until we get back on track.

I thought that the guy was funny and original. I just didn't see anyone else mention it.
