QuoteFront - 15"x7" rims - 245x60x15" tires
Back - 15x10" rims - 275x60x15" tires

QuoteRallyeMike - I agree with you and the consensus of others.  Will put the 2" blocks back in and see how far it drops the rear.  Then adjust the bars up front if needed.  I want a little bit of a rake but not an extreme "Joe Dirt" look.

Hope you can make it with those 10's out back. Which wheel manf. is that? You'll need max backspacing on those rims no keep from rubbing the outside of the inner wheel well.

Looks great.

I'm in the process of putting new wheels and tires on my 69, and opted for 8" rims out back (4" BS) with the 275/60/15. I wanted to fit 10's for deep dish look, but it just was not in the cards. Also used 245/60/15 up front like you did.

So long as those 10" rims have 5" of backspace, the 275s will fit in the wells just fine.

OldGuy

The 10" rims have 5" backspacing and they are looking good as far as clearance - sides and top of tires.

With the "Nascar" wheels it needs to be lower in the back, the front looks great!!!!
:iagree: Low is the way to go.

Keep in mind any rake effects the front suspension, that rake changes up and down travel to up and forward-down and back due the rake's angle ending up setting the upper control arms at the same rake. It all effects reaction and steering more than you might think.  :scratchchin:  I followed the FSM's height adjustments then had Goodyear set alignment without the offset for road pitch angle and my car rides and handles sweet.
You can go higher in the front and lower in the rear to adjust for the tire's difference in height and not have castor and camber issues.

If you have clearance lower the rear.

^ thank you sir. . I was a bit worried about the fronts. That 3.625 backspacing had me worried. We tried a 15x7 with 3.5 and it just barely fit... It looks good though. Im running the 295's and they do rub just a little pulling in or out of a crappy driveway.. I will have to slow down.  :icon_smile_blackeye:

Im digging yours too. They really pop with the yellow. Did you get lugs too? One of mine showed up with the wrong pitch. Plus I waited a week or so after they posted to my account and called. Guy called me back three hours later and said they were all tagged and ready to ship, they just never made it into the shipping pile.. WTF? Whatever I guess. I really cannot remember ordering something and not having an "incident." Get that puppy set up and lets do a few laps eh?  :ricky:

We took the rear spring blocks out when we started to resto and it jacked the rear end up.  With the new tires and rims, is it too low in the front?  We can adjust the torsion bars and raise the front end or should we put the rear blocks back on?  Or do both - raise the front end and put the rear blocks back on?

The car looks perfect the way it is.  :coolgleamA:

If you like the way it looks leave it. But if it was my car I'd definitely lower it.  :Twocents:

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Glad things worked out for you.  No problem getting the right lugs - I actually bought two extra just in case.  Even with the rear up, the front tires don't rub at all.  Took it in and out of the driveway and around the block a couple of times - no rubbing issues.  There is plenty of clearance around the rear wheel wells with the 275's on the 10" rims.  We plan to throw the 2" blocks on the rear and see how it looks.  Still have a few cosmetic things to do to the car - but we are looking forward to cruising.  My son will drive the 68 and I will take out the 69.
