is there a code on the fender tag if your car had a factory rear stripe? if so what would the code be?

Assuming the car is an R/T... look for a 3 letter code starting with "V8". The third letter denotes the color: 'R' = red, 'W' = white,  and 'X' = black. If you see "V88" the stripe was deleted and there should be large R/T emblems on the quarter panels instead.
