Finn, I bought the paint kit off ebay, for $220 shipped (gallon of base, gallon of clear, reducers, hardners the whole bit) It stated "Plum Crazy" purple I think it is darker but I actually like it better than the factory FC7 (looks too light IMO) I put a total of 4 coats of the base purple on then masked it off and sprayed the black tail stripe and hood blackout then I cleared it. I am just finishing it up I re did the entire interior seats, headliner, carpet, new audio system, It's from Arizona and all the sheetmetal was rust free! Those are the original quarters and I stripped them to metal and there was not one pinhole!! I will get some more pics as it I am going to sell this Dart to further fund my 69 Daytona clone project!

myk

Nice car man.  It's even nicer that you can do your own bodywork...

Indygenerallee

MYK appreciate it! I did all the interior work as well from headliner to seat re-covering, saves a ton of money doing it yourself! Don't be afraid to jump into a project my first one I worked on was over 14 years ago plus I own my own shop and do mainly auto repair but I do have customers that bring small paint/body jobs in from time to time!

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

NICE! I would like to re-do a 70-72 Dart one day. I really want an a-body for my next project.
