Yep Blowers were originally use a air handlers/mover for many industries, especially the screw type positive displacement blowers, including the mining industry, the GMC Roots type 3 blade rotor Blower was actually used as a exhaust scavenger to help performance on diesels & large aircraft engines, before being used as a intake supercharger, the 1st blowers were centrifugal type with a big flap the progressively moved to catch more & more air, at least that's the story I remember...

He has a couple of Challengers the newer 2008 Hemi Challenger & a 2010 6.1 or something, then a 70 Challenger Hemi 4sd, I think I remember seeing he also has a couple of late 50's Dodge or Chrysler 354-392 Hemi Letter or B/C/D 300 & D-500 cars, not sure about the 2nd gen. Charger's, Superbird's or Daytona's

Jay's collection is pretty eclectic. Frankly, I think his garage is way cooler as is than to have filled it with restored Chargers, Daytonas, Chevelles, etc. Anyone can have those. Who else has a fleet of steam cars, Chrysler tank-engine roadsters, turbine motorcycles, etc.? The fact that he has all this money and cars and still drops by a drive-in on Saturday night is cool. He is definitely the ultimate gear head.

Seriously. I've seen him pull up in a car powered by a tank engine, and I've only seen him ONCE (had a little conversation too). Most of these guys see him in an awesome car every single damn year. The guy just shows up at these shows and is accessible. I respect that.

...There's a guy out here I know of doing a Motown Missile tribute type of project into a 70 'Cuda with a lot of original parts from Don Carlton including a twin plug Hemi, magnesiun tunnelram, wheelie bars and it will be driven on the street , mad keen with all the period gear, his build thread is a good read...

I've seen a video of Jay turning up to a car show in a Chrysler Turbine car. Pretty cool. How many people can do that, let alone even see one running in the flesh?
