Ok, I'm officially bit by the Charger bug!  The problem is that all the Chargers always seem 1500-2000 miles away.  Is there someone that would be willing to check out a Charger for me, without mowing my lawn? :)

I would pay for gas, food and your time/expertise of course (via paypal or whatever).

There is a few cars in California that I am interested in if that helps.

You send someone to 'check' out a car for you... they wind up buying it themselves.  Lawn MOWED.

LOL, never heard that term before.

Id say everyone on here are stand up people, you get your asshats but generally speaking there few and far in-between.

If you need anything checked out on the east coast (NY, NJ, PA, CT) area or so..let me know i might be able to assist.

mowing your lawn?. . .
Never heard that either. I guess that's what my X friend did to me when I showed him a 62 impala SS 409 Dual quad conv ( 4 speed ) for 300.00
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I used to look at cars as a courtesy however, one jacka$$ on the internet asked me to look at one once, which I gladly did, then complained I wasn't thorough enough.  :eyes:

Junk is junk, and that was what I reported... Car was literally, in a junkyard. What was the guy expecting  :flame: ...I also dropped my sunglasses, cracking a lens. :slap:

Now, when I look at a car for someone, I am clear upfront, it is a $200.00 fee for inspection with 1 page report. If the car is more than ~30 minutes away, the price goes up $25.00 per hour.

The last car I looked at, the seller claimed was an all-original time capsule. Buyer paid me $300.00 and was well-worth the investment. Seller was shady, car was not even garage kept or clean. Saved the buyer $15k.

I do not cut lawns though, but am afraid there are people in the world who would  :yesnod:

I guess with the internet now, not many cars are 'unknown' like in the past, so I'm not too worried about it.  If I know about the car, then alot of other people must, so no worries about the grass :)

there are alot of great people on here willing to help. just find a car and post up on here where it is. there are guys all over the us and canada willing to go for a ride. also be specific on what you are looking for in the search. what one is willing to tackle, another might not want. :yesnod:

Years ago, when any guy in my group of co-workers had to go away on an unusually long business trip, we'd all ask if he wanted any of us to go over to his house to "mow the lawn" for him.

We were talking about tapping his 'ol lady so she wouldn't be looking around for stray stuff. :yesnod:

I know....I know.... ::)

I'm already on car count overload, so I can cover Pugetropolis (Seattle Area) with minimal chance of mowing your lawn.  :coolgleamA:

Living testament to that statement.  Though I guess I never complained about their lousy work.   :D :smilielol:  In all seriousness, I was fortunate to have several folks willing to help me out and made some good friends in the process.  I hope to repay that favor over the years.   :2thumbs:

'Without mowing your lawn'  :icon_smile_big:

Urban Dictionary:

1.    mow the lawn
when a girl shaves down there and keeps it shaved.
"she keeps her lawn mowed"

2.     mow the lawn
Three words that, when put together, become a statement that is feared by many teens and kids.

"Dad: Greg! Go mow the lawn!

Greg: Dad!! Im........ uummmmm............. using the bathroom!"

3.    mow the lawn
Hitting on your friend's girlfriend, or having X-ual relations with a friend's girlfriend
"Hey bro' sorry I hit on your girlfriend. I didn't mean to "mow the lawn", or "mow your lawn".
"I can't belive my buddy "mowed my lawn" last Saturday night!"

I am semi-interested in this car.  What can you tell me from the ad?  And I'm looking for a 'rust' free, complete car.  (Gee, who isn't??).  I don't value the RT part much.

California...

This one is closer to me (8 hours).  More money but he says 'rust free' and running.

I have $15-16K for a car, maybe a little more.  Travelling is no problems (as in importing a car from the US).  I don't count the import expenses :)

From the hip with the limited info in the ads...

The CA car:
If it's a real console car then the seats, steering column and elbow pad on the console, headliner, visors, appear to be from a different years. Certainly not 68/9.
Looks like its a parts bin car - all the parts collected from different bins (cars) and put on to that car to make it appear complete.

The Canada car..
Looks to be a good original car that has been neglected over the years. Silver with Blue interior is FREAKIN Sweet!  :drool5:  Good chance the build sheet is still in the back seats and that it is in fact a #s car.

Off the cuf the Silver/Blue 383 is the better choice. At least from my position. Call both and collect more info. Get fender tag and VIN info and more pics. Come back and we can provide more.
