Well...since a few folks around here have been helpful (thanks a bunch!), especially Tan Top, I'd like to keep y'all in the loop of where I am at. Still have the console, stereo and torque converter upgrade to do.

The heater core replacement and restoring the housing were tidious but well worth the trouble.







I made a new rear panel to install a pair of 6x9 Alpine speakers and removed the original panel and stored it. More on the stereo system in later post.





I ended up not buying the seat covers but had them redyed instead. Most local upholstry shops would not redye and I had to find a specialist around town to take on this job. Only cost $300 to redye the front seats and rear bench. See before and after pictures below

Where can u find a little thing to close the glove box? I have the lock but nothing to latch on to? My friend removed something but he lost that part and I don't even know what it looks like.

Thanks Doc! I can see that piece in the pictures from the link and apparently I lost that piece. Where can I find one for a '69 Charger?
