Ummm...why not just go get one. Shouldn't be a big deal.

Dino

If you're from NY, you don't even need a PassPort.  Just an "Enhanced" drivers license to get into Canada.
Or as Don said, head over to Post Office ... easy.  Should even have it in time.   :yesnod:

No, actually I have not.  We're all hoping he'll bring some maple cookies to Carlisle.
Maybe I will give him a call this week, see what's up!!!

Cookie's are on Hold !

Here I am....Still kicking Stones....Won't be at Carlisle this year, (We're attending the Summit Nationals in Norwalk Ohio that same weekend ) But will be at Moparfest. Possibly for Friday...The Friday evening Street Show in  New Hamburg is supposed to be quite a show ! May be worth Checking into... and then again On the Saturday and that night in Guelph.

Otherwise everything is Good The Charger is coming Along slooooooooowly But I'm causiously optimistic.

Received a promo package from Moparfest. Looks like they finally are publicly talking about the size vs space issue. Looks like this year will be normal however they note that once they max out they will likely cease allowing newer cars (post 84?). Move the damn thing and keep everyone happy and building the next generation of Mopar enthusiasts.

So what would the preference to be in a new location? Somewhere in the Kitchener/Waterloo area or somewhere else?

Bob hopefully no alternator problems this year and I will see you there . If it is raining I will take the 79 Ram-charger in its place! Ron Cindy and I have done the Summit Nationals the last couple of years and man do they know how to put on a show . We actually stopped going to the Canadian Nationals at Grand Bend after going to Ohio . Just no comparison in quality of event. Might see you there we will be the ones cruising the pit area with a couple of Great Danes in the evening .

So what else is there to do in the area of Norwalk ?  We found a Sprintcar track in the area for some evening Dirt fun But other than That ?? No Bars, No Music.
Do you recall what the party at the event was like ?

We have been R.V. fence-line so have had no need to leave the site but have had the good fortune of hanging out with some top fuel teams into the evening .

If they were to move from New Hamburg, I personaly am in favor of Mosport.  As for them not wanting to change locations, I can understand since Moparfest does bring in a lot of money for local businesses and charities.  If I was a local motel or charity, I wouldn't want to see it leave either.  As for show cars... On one hand you don't want to discourage you mopar fans from attending.  But, there are a bunch of newer chargers/challengers parked in the show area that are not in my opinion "special interest".  They are no different than what I see in the local Walmart/mall parking lot.  No one is saying these people can't come to the show.  I don't think anyone wants to see  my '05 Ram or my wife's '12 Journey in the show field.

That's the thing with the newer "Chargers and Challengers". Everyone has seen them. They are no longer new and are not yet classics either.
My 1969 Charger. RIP......Rest in pieces.

Frankly I don't think they utilize the space they have very well.  Much is wasted space.

:iagree: Last time I was there .I saw alot of space at the oppsite end of the field from the vendor that could be used better.

I'd rather take more time looking at the real musclecars than having to hunt through 84 shelbys, new pick ups and what have you to find a real car to drool over.

I can deal with a section for new challengers, but wouldn't miss the 4 door cars and pick ups gone. Hard enough to look at a volare let alone post 80 cars.  :Twocents:
