When my Charger has sat overnight, I need to pour a little gas in the carb to get it started. Once its ran for a little bit I can shut it down and it will fire right back up, I can even let it sit most of the day and it will start up but when it sits overnight I have to pour gas in the carb to get it to start again. Im thinking maybe its the fuel pump or filter but I honestly don't know any ideas?

Let me guess... Its a Thermo Quad, right?
This happens to many of those. They drain down overnight. The gaskets are leaking and the fuel drips into the intake, then evaporates. Sometimes if the leak is bad enough, fuel will actually seep down into the cylinders. This leads to rapid cylinder wear on start up due to the thin film of oil being washed off the low side of the affected cylinders. The oil sometimes gets contaminated by the raw fuel too. Its time to rebuild that carburetor.

Sublime/Sixpack

Lizey, you didn't say whether or not the choke was operating.

I don't think the choke is working, but I'll check tomorrow to be sure. And yes its a thermo quad, is rebuilding it the only option? And if so how hard is that to do really?
