New Carb!

It's been a little bit since my last post, but I have been busy!!     I lost my job but have had more time to work on the car and the "to-do" list around the house. 
Found out that the old Carter had a bunch of vacuum leaks after we had it rebuilt.  Found a local tune shop selling a used 800 Eddy and gave it a try!    what a huge difference.  we have all new gaskets on the valley pan, valve covers, and Intake so the oil leaks have finally stopped.  had it out in the driveway today fine tuning the carb and cleaning the engine bay! 
Hope everyone else are getting projects complete as the Spring is fast approaching.   
Also took the drivers door off to see why she was dipping when open, but found not only the pins worn with no bushings, but the spring and gear for holding the door open is shot.  back to the online shopping!!
