1969 y2 charger. Does anyone know this car?

The hunt for my next car continues. Found this car on ebay? Any input before I go see it? Its a 10hr drive. Don't wanna waste.time and money if its junk.

that car was on last year if i recall or the year before ,  looks good from the pictures  , hood , fenders need adjusting   , rear bumble bee stripe is spoiling the car IMO    bit of luck its a decal & not painted on ! kick down linkage is upside down too , by the looks of it unless 318s are like it ?see a few other things , but none are a biggie & easy fixed when you buy it , should it look as good in person as it does in the pictures , under side has just been sprayed  black with a rattle can , still over spray on exhaust
if i was looking for  a charger & that was in my budget , i would go & look !!    colors not bad either

Yes, I also recall this car being listed a few times last year on Ebay. Don't recall what it bid up to though.

I think the kick down linkage is different for a small block.

Thanks guys, I remember it awhile back on ebay awhile back also. I always wanted a big block car, but I think I can be happy with a clean LA engine  car with no rust. I'm trying to recapture my youth. I had a 69 from the age of 16 till 29. Sold her to pay some college debt.

Thats what Frankie is supposed to look like!   There was another car like this out of colorado on ebay a while back that went for 10g's and it was rusted pretty good!

gee nice ride there but I'd add another 3k to the current bid and offer it to me and get yourself a genuine rust free FK5 70 R/T and have fun painting it and putting it back together.But that's just wishful thinking on my part lol.The car of course appears in my avitar. go on you know you want to.don't forget to budget for shipping from Aus to your place., it even comes with the matching 440 block and another .

the guy sounds like a straight up guy. he's selling it for his son's grandfather(but didn't say it was his DAD lol). anyway, they want 24k for the car. claims he has 34 emails to respond to. i like it a lot, i just don't think i can justify 24k for a 318 car, that's top top of the mark in my opinion.

I do like the car alot. I'm trying to get some info on if there was any metel changed. Also if there was a restoration log with pics. That may help me justify the 24k. But i do think thats a premium. Im more comfy with 20k

The Y2 cars are starting to come out of the woodwork.   When I bought Frankie it was the only Y2 I had seen. Never seen one at the Charger shows. Theres  Hemi Y2 picture I have somewhere. Your color combo is different. Mine has the brown/saddle color interior and I noticed the 2 from ebay have the black carpet and white seats.
