Chris, being that those seem to be lap jointed and welded, I would be worried about cracking the weld if you dent them in on the opposing corners.  Also, are they the same length as the stock ones?

Awesome mufflers! If you are asking if you need too dent them for fit? the answer is "No". If you are asking for your minds sake of having them look stock? Then, "No" because they still wont!!  :nana:

Yes, you will love them!!!  Nice aggressive sound but not really loud until you mash the pedal.... :D

Sounds like the Magnaflow 18" muffler I just put onto my 07 Ford F150.  I got tired of the truck being too quiet so I cut out the factory 31" muffler and put in the 5x9 oval 18" long muffler.  Fairly quiet at idle but nice throaty sound when it gets to about 2000 rpms.

Brian C., they are almost the same length as the Hemi mufflers I have on there now.... they are 25" total long (the Hemi High Flow's from Accurate LTD are 25.5" long)

Very Nice! I've been thinking of getting a set. Had Flowmaster 40's put on this summer and the echo inside the cab is getting to be a bit much.

Chris, if you really wanted to have the crushed corners, you could heat them before attempting to dent them. Or send them to me, I can have my buddy cut and reweld the corners. He's been building race cars for over 25 years, builds headers, and occassionally modifies welded mufflers.

I am curious to see if there is a power increase over the Accurate Hi-Flows....

I doubt there will be any seat of the pants increase....Im hoping for more of a sound increase  :2thumbs:

When it warms up more to take it to my friends shop that has a lift & a torch.....getting too old/wise to try and replace them on my back in the garage without a torch :rotz:

I have the Flowdeaf's on my '68. They sound GREAT at idle and WOT. At cruising speed (35 - 45mph), there is a terrible drone inside the car. Makes you feel like your head is gonna explode. Even put some sound deadening mat under the carpet in the rear. Helped somewhat, but not much.
I'm considering swapping them for the Dynamax's in the future.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but which mode is on your car? The make many different styles to suit your needs. I'm extremely pleased with the 50 suv's I put on mine. Quiet while cruising with nearly no drone but loud and aggressive when you stand on the throttle.

I had the Flobastards on my car when I first got it in '97...hated the drone & instantly tossed them for the Hemi mufflers....not sure if they had any other "series" back then...

stupid question but is necessary to have headers installed as well to get this sound boost?
New to the muscle car/mopar addiction so bare with the "dumb" things I'm likely to ask all of you. Just trying to learn and gotta start somewhere! Cheers!
