If that is not old footage, the Daytona has been in the shop for a while.   It was shown in pics when the #40 Hamilton car was being restored two years ago.

I haven't seen it yet, but I did actually meet the guy in the picture over the weekend at the Autorama in Detroit. He and his son were there showing the Legacy Petty Convertible Challenger, very cool people and cool car as well. Matter of fact while he was there he got a call from a friend telling him they saw him on TV.

Good people I was at their booth throughout the weekend at the Autorama. Sending my 2012 Challenger down there to trick it out. I may even have them repaint one of my cars.
