Haven't heard the word peeps being used much anymore. Is it out?

Anyway, I wanted to share a couple of good stories about some of my recent transactions. First off, Bryan, who goes by A383Wing here, was nice enough to send me a correct alternator pulley for the cost of $0. It's already been powder coated black and is waiting for 10 other projects to get done before its turn. Bryan sent it to me while dealing with a sick wife and still manage to handily beat the shipping speed of several other shippers who got paid. In fact I' still waiting on two items from Legendary that were purchased at the same time. Thank you very much, Bryan.

Another guy who deserves kudos is James Fillmore at Detroit Muscle Technologies. Today I called him to inquire about a pair of throttle gaskets I needed (pedal/floor and firewall/throttle mechanism) and he decided to send them both to me for the cost of $0. IMO Detroit Muscle Technologies is one of the best businesses I've dealt with throughout this entire restoration process. Another one is Firm Feel (which has also given me some excellent help).

Thanks all. :2thumbs: I've had to deal with many bad people/issues during this restoration but I can't forget the many good things/people that I have dealt with too.

I put my vote up there for Bill440RT . He, like MANY of the great forum members here, has gone so far out of his way to make sure I got exactly what I needed without screwing me..

Of course, you have your people like Mike from Maine. Brooklyn Frank. Skip and the rest who's names I'm not remembering off the top of my head.

Hey, thanks for the props Jeff. I'm humbled!    (Is props still a word these days??)

Too many great guys on this 'site to list. I've had help as well from many. Just 6T9, Firefighter, 1Hot, Bill Alphin, Dayclona, John Kunkel, etc etc. The list is long & the guys are great.

Speaking of good guys, Nvrbdn went out of his way to videotape and send me several episodes of a certain TV car show that we dont get here in Oz. He didnt want payment but I couldnt take them for free so we worked out a congenial deal.
Thanks again.

I scored a booster from Mr. bill440rt.  I only slightly worked him on the price & he had no problems agreeing.

I could have sold it more than doubling my money but conscientiously didn't do it instead staying with my initial plan.  Most of those guys on the other side of the river are stand up gentlemen.

Curtis, you need to hook up with Benson sometime.  He & I have never exchanged money except when he bought Blue.  I'm currently in the red with him by about $300.  We both know eventually he'll be taken care of or I might get into further debt.  Doesn't matter cause we both know neither one of us is out to shaft one another.

For whatever reason, you're about the only other Mopar guy around here I've connected with. I like River a lot too (the other Mike) but never hear from him. I've met Tom a few times but I just get the feeling he sees me as a small timer. Especially when he's known for making deals in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range and all I do is work on one car alone. I come to show after show with no car so people probably think I'm just a tire-kicking dreamer.

Don't even worry about it. To be honest I think I'd rather just get another stainless spring for $6. You really can't beat that...

Nothing but good about James of DMT

You wont believe this. I bought some gasket kits from him back in 2008! He sent them to me twice but they never arrived. After mailing back and forth I just gave up and thought my money was gone forever. I just cut my losses and moved on.
3 weeks ago He sent me an email to ask me what happened because he still had our emails and kinda coulnt let go of the fact that I never got parts for my moneyHowever he never quite knew if I received the 2nd shipment. Well after some talking I told him it might be better to ship to buddy of mine in the states then rather trying to ship directly to Europe. So he did and I got some extra stuff also for free.
When I told him I really appreciated that and asked what the shipping cost whas again he said no charge.....

Just sayin' It might took a while but he really is a stand up Mopar hobby guy.  :2thumbs:
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...
