im getting the car freshend up for spring(very optimistic here in central new york)and wanted to re paint my headers, whats a good product to use?i would prefer something i can brush on,but can spray also-they are a wicked pain in the ass to take off and put back on,so id like to only do this once,at least for another 2 or 3 years!

at a car show last year i seen this very nice challenger that drove about 150 miles to the show, his header paint still looked new so i asked him what it was and he said it was john deer exhaust paint and it was 3 years old!!   if mine werent ceramic coated thats what id paint them.

i have a buddy with a set of powder coated headers on his pantera,  they have held up nice for at least 3 years.

ceramic coated headers look great and i have 2 sets of them, but they dont stay all nice and shinny . my new hookers are still nice but my 3 year old headmans just look ok
