I'm in Borden Ontario for 3 weeks and was wondering if it was worth the trip to Halton Hills for a tour?  :popcrn:

I've stopped in a few times. If you got time to kill why not. They usually have some cool cars in the showroom. It's not jaw dropping but it's fun for a car guy.

If you do go you may want to stop at the Automotive Guild in Bradford http://www.guildclassiccars.com/Showroom.htm
It's not far off the path if your going to go to Legendary. They are a resto shop that does a lot of high dollar restos of everything from 1920s to 1980s era cars. They have done a Batmobile and the Supervan, the later was still in the showroom last time I was there.

404NOTFOUND

Absolutely worth the trip in my opinion! I've been there twice and will certainly go again. You get to go kissing close with some stunning and ultra rare cars in a beautiful setting. You won't be disappointed I'm sure.
My 1969 Charger. RIP......Rest in pieces.

CAPER

Definitely worth a visit. Surprised a few people with a trip there and they were truely thrilled.

I've driven by the exit off the 401 but never went there but I've always wanted to. I call them about 5 years ago about it cuda but the price is too steep for me. I would go there if you're going to be around.

The ' Guild' merely repainted my bat car, added rivets and resold it.

Eldon, you might want to take a jaunt out to see Nigel Mills at National Moparts in Beaverton.

It was a lot easier visiting Nigel when he was in Orangeville.  But no, he had to go all hermit on us and move even further away.

I didn't realize Nigel was in Orangeville at one time. That would have put him in conflict with Lee Ellison wouldn't it?

They were buddies.  Nigel bought all of Lee's stash after he passed away.  IIRC, Nigel was just outside of Orangeville not in the heart of the city like Lee.

my car is in Caledon and I bought my front clip from Nigel :2thumbs:

Ah, :o I hate to say this, but Nigel was never in Orangeville,  He was in Aurora first, then he was on Hwy 9 in Newmarket before he moved to Beaverton.  :icon_smile_big:

  Yes, but in my defence you have to remember I'm from the other end of the province so to me, Aurora and Newmarket were pretty much the same as Orangeville.  Yes, I realize they are a little further (for the direction I am coming from), but Beaverton might as well be in Quebec for me.  And yes, I realize it isn't much further than Newmarket, but it is "far enough".
In the same line of thought, I look at Toronto as the entire Golden Horseshoe.

To put it another way, at one time if I were driving up to see Lee i would just automatically add Nigel to the trip which makes it all the same place to me.  Beaverton however requires its own special day set aside.
