Simply paste the youtube link in there and it'll give you all the formats you can download it in.  Pick one of the .mp4's and you're set.

I have a plug-in built into Firefox... On any YouTube video page is a "download" button.. Let's you chose multiple format between audio/video.

It's called Easy YouTube Video Downloader

OK - I downloaded a couple free ones of the above which do not let me choose the save-as format. Both save as an FLV extension. When I try to play it MS movie maker opens and nothing else happens.....any ideas?

most computers will not play a "FLV" extension..it will have to be converted....you will probably have to use another program...which are you using now?

It is an Adobe Flash extension. I downloaded Adobe Flash but when I right click on the file and "open with" it wont give me the Flash program option.....It is probably for web browsers.

Correct...Adobe will not open a "FLV" file

do you have "Real Player"?

That should open it I think
