Disc brake choices

I've been considering disc brakes for a while and I see there's few choices out there
Which one is better, there's kit that comes with adapter plate that bolts onto stock spindle (am I right?)

Welllllllllllllllllllll....

    Top kit ( using stock spindles )  has 11 7/8" rotors and new truck pin type calipers.

    Bottom kit ( spindle swap ) has ? rotors and uses slider calipers.

    I would send a question and ask what size the rotors are in the lower kit.   If they're definitely the smaller 10.87 rotors then go with the top kit.

    Otherwise....   I'd still probably just go with the top kit cause it's easier and I'm lazy.

    Unless you start talking very large rotors and multiple piston calipers there's really not a lot of difference in stopping power.

I wonder if with the top kit it will move wheels outwards more?

Without more info on the lower setup, the upper setup does have the large rotors and the Ram calipers will have the 2.95" calipers. Even if the lower setup has the same diameter rotors it likely has smaller calipers which means less clamping pressure.

I have several friends order this kit and everyone of them love it. I plan on ordering this kit over the winter for my 69 was well.
